The composite average of the Williamsburg graduating class is higher than the state average.

Williamsburg Independent School District is pleased to announce that our students have achieved the highest composite ACT scores in the past five years. In a recent report sent to the district by ACT, the district’s composite ACT average was 20.8. This composite average is among the highest ever received by any Williamsburg graduating class and the highest in the past five years. Williamsburg’s average is one point higher than a year ago and nearly one point higher than the state average.

This report reflects the achievement of our graduates on the ACT and an indication to the extent to which they are prepared for college-level work.

The ACT consists of curriculum-based tests of educational development in English, mathematics, reading, and science designed to measure the skills needed for success in first-year college coursework.
