I graduated from Corbin High School. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of the Cumberlands in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I also have a Master's degree from UC in Education.

I have worked at Williamsburg since I graduated college. I have always taught high school math. My classes vary between Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Algebra I, and College Math Prep. I have taught Geometry since my first year here, so needless to say, that is my favorite class to teach.

I am originally from Corbin, KY. I graduated high school in 2001. I moved to Williamsburg when I came to Cumberland College (previously called) in 2001. I love this small town and would like to raise my kids here, when I eventually have them. :) I love my job as a teacher. I enjoy working with students and knowing that I am having some kind of impact on their lives.  I love sports. I used to be the varsity softball coach here for 3 years. I gave that up to be the varsity girls basketball coach. I was the basketball coach for 4 years. I gave up coaching because I wanted to have time to find someone to settle down with because I eventually want a family.  I am a very family oriented person. My family are a big part of my life and I eventually want a family of my own.
