I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Eastern Kentucky University in May of 2014. Furthermore, I received my Masters of Arts in Middle Grades Education (Social Studies and English) in August of 2018.

I have taught for 4 years at Williamsburg Independent School. For the 2014/2015 school year, I taught 6th grade ELA. In the 2015-2016 school year, I taught second grade. In 2016-2017, I taught 6th grade ELA. In 2017-2018, I taught 5th and 6th grade math. This year, I am teaching 5th grade math.

I love teaching and am passionate about impacting students. This is my sixth year of teaching. I received a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Elementary Education from Eastern Kentucky University in May of 2014. Then, I received a Masters of Arts in Middle Grades Social Studies and English from University of the Cumberlands in August of 2018. I am also the middle school academic team coach at WISD.

I want my students to have a smooth transition into middle school. Therefore, I plan to accomplish this by providing a safe atmosphere for your child to learn and grow while also teaching them responsibility and self-motivation. Your child will learn and grow a lot this year. I have a student centered classroom where students are expected to be fully engaged in the learning process. Furthermore, they are held accountable for their behavior and academic responsibilities. There will be many group learning activities and experiences. The students will learn, experience, and discover new content. Additionally, they will be stretched to achieve their own personal goals.

I know that your child will be successful this year in 5th grade! I have high expectations for my students and expect them to follow the rules/guidelines for my classroom in order to have a productive and successful school year. We will have a lot of fun learning together!

If you would like to set up a time to meet me and discuss your child, I would be more than happy to meet with you. Also, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. I want to have open communication with you. Email me at or call at 606-549-6044 ext. 127. Please leave me a voicemail, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
