In 2011, I graduated from Whitley County High School. Directly after high-school, I enrolled at the Univeristy of the Cumberlands. In 2015, I graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-5 with an emphasis in Special Education. I also have a Masters of Arts in Literacy from the University of the Cumberlands. Currently, I am enrolled in the Educational Specialist Program at the University of the Cumberlands.

In 2015, I was blessed enough to complete my student teaching at Whitley Central Primary in 2nd grade then finish up here at Williamsburg Independent in high school special education. Upon completing my student teaching, I was hired to teach 6th grade Math. The following year, I taught Kindergarten then 5th and 6th grade Social Studies. Also, I taught 5th Grade Reading Language Arts. This year, I am the coteacher for Middle School English Language Arts working with grades 6, 7, and 8.

"Williamsburg, Feels Like Home" is definitely not an understatement. Our small town has always been my home. When asked where I wanted to go to college, I immediately responded with University of the Cumberlands because I didn't want to leave my "home". I met my husband, Daniel, here in Williamsburg in 2011. We married in June of 2013. We do not have any children yet but we do have four furbabies: Copper, Tucker, Cabela, and Ruger.
