LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY–The Williamsburg City School JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) program is celebrating a remarkable achievement following the recent Kentucky State Career Development Conference, marking a significant milestone in its inaugural year.
At the conference, Abigail Jackson secured 1st Place in the Essay Competition, showcasing her exceptional writing skills and creativity. Meanwhile, Megan Partin earned 2nd Place in the Employability Skills category, demonstrating her preparedness for the workforce and commitment to personal development. Her outstanding performance has earned her a spot to advance to the National Competition in Indianapolis, representing Williamsburg City School on a larger stage.
In addition to the student accolades, Tabetha Housekeeper was honored as the JAG Superintendent of the Year for her exemplary leadership and unwavering support for the program. Her dedication to nurturing student success has been instrumental in creating an environment where students feel empowered to thrive.
