Williamsburg Independent Schools will implement a Non-Traditional Instructional (NTI) Day #6 on
Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Students should complete assignments provided by their teachers through Google Classroom and/or paper packets previously distributed. Staff will be available during regular school hours to assist with any questions.
Coaches and sponsors will communicate with students and families regarding extracurricular events, practices, and related matters.
ATTENTION JACKET FAMILIES:
Due to unsafe temperatures and dangerous driving conditions there will be NO SCHOOL Tuesday, January 27 or Wednesday, January 28. These will be traditional snow days, not NTI days. Students will NOT be expected to complete assignments during these days. All extracurricular events including practices, scheduled games, etc. are cancelled for Tuesday, January 27th. If you or your family are in need of assistance, please reach out via email. Stay safe and warm. We hope to see you soon!
Jacket Families: Due to the weather, Family Math Game Night scheduled for Monday, Jan. 26 is canceled. We’ll combine these games and activities with our February Family Engagement Night on Thursday, Feb. 12. We can’t wait to see you then! 🧡
Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the devastating fires in downtown Williamsburg. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Williamsburg City School WILL be on a regular schedule today. Buses are expected to run at their regular times, but some students may be picked up by a different bus than usual. If students arrive late because of this tragic event, their tardiness will be excused.
